Hawaii is currently in a building boom, and you can see the landscapes changing little by little right before your eyes. Of course, there are the two famously blinding green buildings built right next to Ward Centre. Whenever the sun hits the side, it cascades a green glow across all of Ward Centre, and everywhere you look, it’s green. We walked across from Borders to take a look, and took some pictures. There’s also another set of buildings which were built only months after the greens ones near Ward, and we nickname is “The Hard Drive Towers”. Don’t they look like a typical external harddrive? Anyway, the official names are “HOKUA”, “KOOLANI”, and “MOANA PACIFIC”. ハワイは今マンションのブームで、どこに行っても、風景が毎日少しずつ変わってきてます。もちろん、皆さんはその有名な緑色のビルの事ごぞんじですよね。太陽が当たると眩しい緑色の明かりをワードセンター全体に当たります。ボーダーズ本屋の向かえから写真を取りました。 もう一つの新しいビルの写真も取りました。なんかコンピューターのハードドライブに見えるから、「ハードドライブタワー」と呼んでいます。ワード近くの二つのビルの名前は「ホクア」と「コオラニ」。そしてハードドライブタワーの本との名前は「モアナパシフィック」です。 L-R: Hokua, Hawaiiki, Nauru. 左―右：ホクア、ハワイイキ、ナウル  Borders Bookstore. ボーダーズ本屋  Koolani. コオラニ  Moana Pacific. モアナパシフィック  Moana Pacific. モアナパシフィック  Of course, each condo has its own official site, but I don’t like them because they don’t really show everything that you want to see and it’s more commercial-like and marketing based. This site shows a lot more about all the different types of condos in Hawaii, which is fun because I could browse through them and feel like I was shopping at the mall. オフィシャルサイトとかはもちろんありますけど、余りインフォメーションは無くて、読み辛いの。。。そしてコマーシャルみたいだから、hicondos.comのサイトの方がもっとおもしろいです。ハワイのマンションすべてがリストになっているので、なんかモールで買い物をした気分になります。  http://www.hicondos.com/hawaiiCondos/condo.asp See you later! |
